Series W		RAKUSUI is specially used for lighting and was named after the production process. Noticed as one of the finer and stronger washi Rakusui comes in 2 different types. The first of the 2 types appears to have small transparent holes in it due to the manufacturing process { water is poured over the top of the paper leaving small impressions in the paper and therefore when dried appears to have small rain drops through the paper}, this first type is most commonly used for lighting fixtures , wall lights and lampshades. The second of the 2 types is much stronger and thicker due to the fact it has been double layered. You are still able to use this second type for light shades and your still able to see the " Rain Drops" but they only become clear when a light is held in place behind it. This type is used for both walls as well as for lampshades, wall lights and light fixtures depending on the desired effect of the purchaser. When using both types of RAKUSUI with a light the light becomes softer and illuminates more to create an amazing atmosphere. As it is a custom made item , please check the date of delivery at the time of order.
